Birthday (23 June 07)

Today, we went to my grandmother house at eunos to have our dinner and to celebrate a joyous occasion. It is my cousin, malcom's birthday. He is currently eleven years old( primary five ). His family members consists of his parents and a brother who is now thirteen and has entered into a secondary school as freshman...We watched the tv together and chatted

Meeting up with volleyball friends( 22June 07 )

Today, i meet up with my volleyball friends at woodlands mrt station at 6 pm. By the time we all gather, it is about 6 20pm and our stomach is grumbling. Then we decide to go to Pizza Hut to have our dinner and we eat to our filings.

Meeting up with metro friends( 20 June 07 )

Today i meet up with ex-metro staff( consists with another 9 people ) in bugis, to eat steam boat. It costs $15 for one adult and $8 for children below 12 years old. The food has a lot of variety which ranges from vegetables to meat to seafood and others. We separate into two tables to eat to our filings. We can choose 2 different types of soups to go with our foods. I really regret ordering the spicy soup as it is really hot which we cannot take it because it adds a lot of small chilli inside the soup. But others like the food is nice.

It is a rare opportunity for us to meet up with one other since the day our contact ends with metro as all of us lives in different places and have different lifestyles. It is nice to get to know each other conditions and whereabouts.

Wedding( 16 June 07 )

To be continue from yesterday's post. In the evening, we went to the grassroots club for wedding dinner.

This is a photo of the newly-weds.

A lawyer is invited to attend the civil ceremony, parents of the newly-weds are witnesses to sign the marriage certificate. After that the lawyer will send a copy of the marriage certificate to the state that records marriage certificates. The couple is now proclaimed as husband and wife.

After that, we have our dinner and it is now for the newly-weds and their family and buddies to toast to guest from the stage.

After the wedding, my cousin's son bought a cake to celebrate his ninth birthday. It is nice having all the family members there to celebrate with him and giving him their blessings. It will be a wonderful day. Hope that his birthday's wishes will come true and everything will be alright!

Wedding ( 16 June 07)

Today is the day whereby my cousin gets married. We wake up at 7.30am and sets for the destination at 8.05am so that we will be able to receive the bride before 9am.

We went to the newly-wed house to visit their new room. From the picture above, we can see that it is taken from the neighbourhood which is the newly-wed new house surroundings. In the picture is all their friends who have attended their wedding.
About 10.50am, we drived back to her mother-in-law house to have our lunch( buffet ) and then it is time for the elders in the family to give their blessings to the newly-wed.

This is a photo which the parents( husband's side ) give their daughter-in-law a ring as a gift after they drink the cup of water given by their son and daughter-in-law.

This is the bride's evening grown for tonight dinner. Together with her are her two best friends. To be continue...

Visit to malaysia (12 June 07)

Today is the day which i look forward to, because my family are going to J.B. Although the visiting place is near, but it is rare for the family to gather together to watch movie, shop and eat. We went to city square which takes only 5 minutes walk from the malaysia custom. We went to eat mcdonalds and watch 200 pounds beauty which is still shown in the cinema. The ticket costs only 5 malaysia ringit.

The movie tells us about Hanna is a lip sync vocalist for Ami, the famous Korean pop singer. Even though she is always ignored because of her appearance, she has been a bright and lighthearted girl until Amy humiliates her in front of Sang-jun, her secret love. At last she makes a decision of a lifetime to have plastic surgery all over her body. Her unrequited love gets any return? The movie is so touching which i nearly cried, after she becomes a singer, the road which lies in front of her gets tougher. As she becomes more famous, she tends to ignore the people around her which includes her father and her best friend. Then the news of her having plastic surgery has been spread. Will she able to face the music? Will she be able to continue to be a singer?

After seeing the movie, we went around to shop and buy things.

The second stop we went to holiday plaza, i bought a lot of comics and D-Craymen dvds. By the time i finish shopping, it is the time in which we have our dinner. We went to eat at pizza hut, the foods tastes good and it is very cheap. As the sky turns dark, we sets home by bus.

Port visit(8 June 07)

Today, we went for the port visit. There are 6 classes of logistics management going there too! Our class is one of them. This trip is important as it will be graded( 10% of our total marks) if we scored in the question paper.

Our first destination is PSA building. In there, we listen to the person who guided our tour, to talk about the ports, its infrastructure and its development in the past and future in singapore.

Our last stop is Mount Faber which we have to take the cable car from Habour Front.

Class( 6July 07 )

Today, our class are going to celebrate the earth: green day. We have all agreed to dress in green or things which resemble the earth. The motive of Green Day is advise all the people to stop the pollution of the earth, slowing down global warming, and things like that.

The picture above consists of 12 people in my class.
Today, we not only celebrate Earth: Green Day but also celebrate our classmates' birthday. Two of my classmates are born in the month of July, therefore we ordered pizza to celebrate their birthday and in addition to eat to our filings.
