Holiday (29 February 2008)

I have just started on my term breaks. Today i am catching two movies with my mum and cousin. We met at Ang Mo Kio Hub:)
We went to the fairprice to buy some snacks and each bought the sausage prati. We catched the first movie which is Ah Long Pte Ld at 2.40pm. The show is hilarious but i don't like some of the corny scenes like the hokkien dances which the duration is a bit. But the scenes in the movie where innocent people (like the victim's family) are involved in the Ah long's acts make me sad. The show lasted for about 2 hours.
After catching fifteen minutes' break, we went to watch the two faces of my girlfriend. The show shows Unremarkable Gu-chang (Bong Tae-gyu) is thirty years old, still in college, unemployed and dependent on his family. To top that off, Gu-Chang has never had a girlfriend or even kissed a girl before. One day, Gu-Chang meets Anni (Jeong Ryeo-won), a mysterious girl in the subway and sparks fly instantly. One night out, just as things start to seem promising, Gu-chang sees Anni from a completely different point of view and realises that there is more to her than meets the eye. Apart from her having split personalities due to the fact that she does not want to recall bad memories because of her boyfriend's death. This show is also hilarious and it is a bit sad, but it has a good ending:)
My legs are numbed by the end of the movie and my stomach are grumbling. Therefore, we went to the sumo house (at blk 710A) for dinner. I ordered an unagi set, but it is a disappointment. Because, the unagi has bones in it and it is little (mostly contained ribs) :(
